Beskrivelse

Surface : 6,5 ouvrés (1 ouvrée = 4 ares 28)
Grape Variety : Pinot Noir
Average Age of the Vines : 40 years old
Nature of the Soil :The vineyards are found in the Commune of COUCHEY, on a hillside facing east – south east. Here, the soils date from the middle of the Jurassic period. There are bedded sediment strata, from limestone to fossils as well as marls of oestra acuminate.
Harvesting : Manual only
Average Production : 1500 Bouteilles.
Wine Characteristics :These vineyards from the hillsides of Couchey, in a place known as “En Sampagny” offer a fine, solid, and structured wine. The nose is fruity, primarily notes of red and black fruits like blackberry. The attack on the palate reveals firm but elegant tannins that will encourage ageing this wine for several years. This is a great introduction to the red wines of the Côte de Nuits.
