"The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin "Cuvée Coeur de Roy," blended with 40% whole bunch, has an intense bouquet of small dark cherries mixed with raspberry and black currant pastille scents; there is fine delineation here. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly grainy tannins, well-judged acidity and a stocky and quite grippy, chalky-textured finish. Give this 18–24 months once in bottle to smooth its edges."
