"Denne vin kommer fra et monopolio, idet contrada Bocca d’Orzo, ud over denne lille ø, dagala, på ca. 0,75 ha, blev begravet af en lavastrøm i 1981. Planterne her er i 2023 ca. 70-80 år gamle og står i en dyb vulkansk jord med aske og småsten. Angivelsen Grande terroir ellittico henviser til, at jorden er den mest sjældne og den ældste af de dyrkbare på Etna, som kan føres tilbage til den såkaldte elliptiske vulkan for 15.000-66.000 år siden. Første årgang var 2019 og vinen har et enestående udtryk, med en udsøgt floralitet og en næsten pinoteret frugt og viser endnu en fascinerende side af Nerello Mascalese." Adriat
