"Denne vin fremstilles med Nerello Mascalese fra 70-90 år gamle planter på den stejle og terrasserede contrada Moganazzi, der historisk er regnet som en af de bedste på Etnas nordside. Den vulkanske jord er stenholdig og rig på aske og lokaliteten yder en sammensat og velstruktureret rødvin, der antager et efterårsagtigt præg efter nogle år på flaske, med noter af tørret frugt, anis og trøfler, og udtrykket er bestemt ikke uden mindelser om Nebbiolo. Det kan anbefales at smage den i sammenhæng med de andre enkeltmarksvine, idet man herved får et langt bedre indtryk af contrada’ernes betydning og den variation de giver." Adriat
"This has a fresh and fragrant nose with beautiful cherries and raspberries as well as rose petals, licorice and crushed stones. It’s firm and linear on the palate with a medium body and vivid acidity. It’s hard to draw a line between the tannins and the earthy, mineral aspect as both build a chalky mouthfeel and lead to a long textural finish.
