Etymology: Précolombière is mashup of the names of the 3 terroirs that compose the blend: Pré de la Folie, Commune, and Colombière.

Size: 1.31 ha (3.24 ac)

Variety: Pinot Noir

Vine Age: Planted in 1929/1954/2011 (Colombière), 1985 (Pré de la Folie) and 1934/1967 (Commune)

Terroir: The three parcels are located in the heart of the village with similar terroirs of deep red clays but with a layer of stones at 1.5 meters' depth.

Viticulture: Uncertified biodynamic

Vinification: 55% whole cluster, ambient yeast ferment. Aged in oak barrels (25% new) for 12 to 18 months. Since 2016, very moderate sulfur additions: none during vinification, a little during élevage and before bottling, for a total of 15 to 20 ppm. beckywasserman
