"Vinstokkene i Bachey-Legros' parcel i Les Fourneaux er plantet i 1914, og er dermed blandt de ældste i hele Côte d'Or! Vinen fra disse tudsegamle vinstokke byder på ekstraordinær farve, koncentration og intensitet, og Samuel og Lenaic tapper derfor en del af høsten separat. Der er i al sin enkelhed også tale om en af de bedste vine i Santenay med silkeblød tannin, stor dybde og en dimension, man normalt kun finder i vinene fra "dyrere" kommuner." Wine.dk

Rich dense purple, a wonderful texture here, well worth bottling apart, huge density, the only question is the ripeness of the fruit which is at the limit, though there is a minerality behind which brings it back.
